Elan Gale is best known for his work in unscripted entertainment, having produced over 500 episodes of television for networks including ABC, NETFLIX, MAX, AMAZON, HULU, PEACOCK, and THE CW.

He is obsessed with social experiments, hybridized storytelling, and screaming loud formats, and taking long walks indoors.

Laura started her career in programming and research at Discovery before finding her passion in development and production. At Investigation Discovery, she helped shape hit true-crime series, including The Missing, ID GO’s first original digital series.

Since joining TheYearofElan in 2021, she’s worked on unscripted series including FBOY Island, Match Me If You Can, Back In The Groove, The One That Got Away, and Grave Conversations. She loves bold formats, thoughtful storytelling, and the chaos of a great brainstorm.

Director of Development

Tessa, a proud Milwaukee native and cheese enthusiast, studied TV and Psychology at Syracuse University’s Newhouse School before diving into unscripted television in LA.

She started at The Gersh Agency, then STX Entertainment, where she was part of the early FBoy Island development team, beginning our creative partnership. After helping launch 101 Studios’ unscripted division, she joined us at TheYearOfElan, where she now plays a key role in crafting innovative, premium unscripted content.

Bill Dixon is a comedian, creative and producer who works alongside the team. Bill has a passion for loud stylized formats and buzzy buzz words.
